Peter G. de Armas is an associate specializing in civil litigation. He has experience in contract disputes, complex business litigation, trademark and intellectual property disputes, mechanics and construction liens, and property tax disputes.
Peter earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, he was a member of the Intellectual Property Law Society, the Dade County Student Bar Association, the St. Thomas More Society, the Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and the Hispanic Law Students Association. During his time at the University of Miami, Peter also volunteered with Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back in the guardian ad litem and domestic violence departments. Throughout law school, Peter clerked with several litigation firms, with practices ranging from franchisee representation to real property disputes, and general representation matters including professional athlete and musical talent representation.
Peter attended Loyola University of New Orleans, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Industry Studies, with a focus on music business, recording, performance, and intellectual property.
Prior to entering law school, Peter interned at the Richard E. Gerstein Justice Building under Judge Stephen Milan.
